If I were Hopkins, I'd fight Sturm

hopkins does not like good jabs and sturm has a good jab, he is young and will move and punch for 12 rounds.

I think hopkins can still beat fighters who don't push the fight (the only thing that won taylor the fights was activity), and tarver is one of those (but he is bigger, so we'll see).
