I just watched his compressed highlights tonight..

Which part exactly of devastatingly whacking out those guys didn't constitute destroying his opponent exactly? It's all there..

David Haye's Greatest Hits... Pretty good stuff actually!!

One of the more teriffic boxers to be sure.

He got dropped against Monte Barrett and didn't look all that impressive. Ran for 12 rounds and landed about 12 punches against Valuev. He took quite a few shots against Ruiz - wasn't hurt - but definitely didn't just destroy him. Did literally nothing against Audley for 2 rounds. Lost to Wlad. Was blowing out his arse and taking shots against Chisora.

Highlights are just that....they show his best bits. He has had his fair share of struggles at HW though.

When Haye fought Bonin, Bonin was 41-2 (excellent record), much bigger than Haye who'se it was his first ever fight at HW. Bonin, won his first 26 fights at HW as well. Bonin was also ranked 11th, again not bad for Haye's first HW fight.

Show me an opponent as good as Bonin that ANY other boxer has ever stepped up to HW to fight?

And Haye knocked that guys block off.

You guys, seriously, I am not even a Haye fan, dislike him really but facts are facts..

Haye smashes the **** out of dudes no matter how big or how good they are really.

And you are trying to lower him to below the level of a crude slugger like Foreman! Try harder!

When did Haye EVER have trouble with a crude slugger? Never!

Well most of those hits will have been compiled of average cruiserweights.

I'll take this rare opportunity to agree with Brush.

This thread cries out to be hijacked.

We should talk about the Japanese schoolgirl decapitation murder instead.

He was 37-1. Lost to Audley Harrison. He was like 220 for that fight an inch shorter than Haye and Haye was 217 if I remember correctly.

Marco Huck went up to fight Povetkin? I think that's one.

                So you're wrong again.

Foreman 1991 vs Haye actually would be a great fight. I bet Haye would fight Foreman like he did against Valuev or like Morrison did against Foreman. Haye wouldn't take many risks and may escape with a unanimous decision but Foreman still had that power and decent speed so you never know.
