155 would be considered middleweight if you didn't know buddy, that would mean the 160 belt would be on the line vs anyone over 155

Now the same ones who complained that he might fight Rubio are saying he's ducking him.

I now understand how Mayweather and Pacquiao fans feel.

no way in hell cotto fights a healthy fighter of rubios size. i really doubt its him

he isnt injured so he would have to be catchweighted to death, otherwise rubio will be lifting miguel off the ground with uppercuts, they know that.

ill watch it for the off chance margarito walks to the ring with rubio too. i would love to see margarito genuinely elated in the ring celebrating venero's victory.!!

Never heard of anything like what you said. I'm pretty sure it depends on whether you were a voluntary or a mandatory when you won the belt.

Though the WBC, there are no solid rules in that organisation anymore.

Why doesn't it make sense in December? It's the biggest money fight available for both of them and there have been successful PPVs in that month before.

This sounds like a lame excuse.

Its funny that you make that statement because some cotto fanboys are actually getting worse then the may and pac ones.

I'm not interested in Rubio I feel Cotto outboxes him easily to a UD but it is what it is with the defense option after a hard opponent and I'm glad to hear his next fight is free on HBO. Canelo can wait with his fraud PPV 'starism' his fans make him out to be bubbbuut he brought most ppvs against Mayweather ...I'd save it for Cinco de Mayo weekend and wreck Mayweathers numbers or save it for the June tradition.

I just read two users on the 1st page who complained he was fighting Rubio to duck GGG. Then they said he was ducking.

Rubio is solid top 10 MW. A good 1st title defense.
