Hilarious seeing Cotto stans contradicting themselves. They're defending Cotto going after the big fights and now they're justifying a Rubio fight. Just as bad as Packy Wapakman's fan base and Floyd's fanatic fan base.

Why is fighting a legit top 10 ranked MW, who he is mandated to fight by year's end or lose his titles, a duck?

Like I've said it before, I'll say it again..! If GGG is so desperate to unify the belts then let’s do it..! The fight will take place at 155 lbs for the unification. King Cotto is the A side and will handle all of the arrangements. They can take it or leave it.. Cotto only has a couple more fights left and has bigger and better fish to fry IMO..

You better tell the Russians to go fuck themselves back in Europe or, better, in Asia. But you cannot force someone at the MW to weigh below 160 -- because Floyd would immediately come and dictate a 147 lbs limit for the MW belt, and so on.

i have no problem with cotto fighting the mandatory....this guy has contantly fought the best fighters out there and has ducked no one, and to me this is a pretty intriguing match. after all he did beat lemiuex who alot of people on here are pretty high on.

The biggest fight that can be made in New York is Cotto/Alvarez, followed by the recently completed Cotto/Martinez, followed by Cotto/Chavez Jr., followed by Cotto/Ward and Cotto/Froch. Cotto/Golovkin is a distant sixth at best.
