This makes no sense. The 154 belt shouldn't be on the line for 152 fight, much less a 147 fight. What's the significance of the extra belr? Is it so Floyd can count this fight as a defense? If that's the case, the WBC has loss all credibility.

This is false. By "defending" his 154 belt at 147, that means he has no more obligations at 154. Normally, if a person has a belt in a weight class, they have obligations, they have to defend it against a ranked fighter in that weight class, within a year at the most. By doing this, Floyd gets to keept his 154 belt without fighting at 154. Disgraceful by the WBC. Floyd could potentially have three fights at 147 in a row (Maidana, Maidana, and whoever after at 147) and maintaining his 154 title.
