What is the 411 on Andre Ward's career?

reminds me of david haye sitting around refusing to fight but expecting the big names to just arrive on his doorstep ... the difference is Haye at least has the ability to talk his way into the big fights when/if he wants them. Ward doesn't. He's wasting his career and honestly has nobody to blame but himself. And to boot ... nobody really cares.Comment

Bute was there for Ward just after the s6. Bute even offered a 2-fight deal with the first fight to take place in jOakland.
Ward's response: Bute is not qualified.
Hmm. No. Ward asked Kessler for an offer for a return fight a few months ago. That offer was turned down and Kessler asked for a counteroffer, but got none.Ward would fight anyone put in front of him at this point,
So no. Ward does not want to fight.
Ok.klitschko is unfortunately gonna take his #2 p4p spot because of inactivity, and this is because of goosen.Comment

Ward has his reasons. People act like the super six was a simple milestone, basically Ward cleaned out the division, and made it look easy. He then proceeded to turn a guy who was considered pound for pound material, into an amateur.
Make no mistake about it, Ward is dominant. It would be like Mayweather entering a tournament with anyone they could throw at him. I only say this because I don't think Ward fears the likes of Froch or Bute. He could beat both guys in quick succession if he wanted to!
Frankly there are no places for him to go. People poo poo a Mayweather fight, but who can fight Ward competitivaly right now? Hopkins would get beat up too much because Ward is in the 15% (or so) who actually know how to fight inside.Comment
