He has had fights outside of California only 5 times or so. Dude was too much of a diva to go anywhere like the others did during the Super Six. I'm glad the Winky Wright Syndrome caught up to him and now he's paying for it. Dude is severely overrated.
Name one person better than Ward at his weight class........some people will complain about anything.

Leaving California and refusing to leave Oakland are two different topics.

You think all black fighters are overrated from Joe Louis to Roy Jones jr

So you calling Ward "severely overrated" has zero credibility.

I'm getting more used to seeing Ward in a suit doing commentary then inside the ring fighting opponents.

Not really...same state. You live there, you should know.

They are overrated but I never denied that they were great.

Lawl! Because it's true and it hurts? Since the beginning of 2012, he's only had 2 fights! One against Dawson in which he drained him and another vs Edwin ****ing Rodriguez! How does that even justify someone being rated #2 P4P? Specially when other boxers are putting in work. I know it might be hard for you to think as grabbing your work boots but I am justified with my thought as to why.

California is a huge state. Ontario is nowhere near Oakland. It's at least 350 miles away. That is not the same as fighting in Oakland.

Geeez! Isn't that where he fought Rodriguez?

Like I said, same state. Nothing a short plane flight or car drive people can't handle if they really want to see him.

I have no problems going to San Antonio, Austin, Dallas/Fort Worth to see fights.

Well, you would drive about 8 hours from Oakland to Ontario.

I'm sure an exciting guy like Ward would make the drive totally worth it. I'd drive 8 hrs to go see some boxers I like fight.

nobody cares about a boring, clinching, coward who refuses to fight outside his comfort zone and refuses to fight 175 pounders even tho its the natural progression of his career and body type.

be gone and spare us your bible thumping jesus freak ways.

Not for nothing but Ward got a pass for making a mockery of the super six tournament. Taylor went to Germany. Dirrell went to England. Ward was at home in the first round but was suppose to go over seas for his next bout. After He beat Kessler though he refused to leave the USA.
