Rigo also only has so much weight to add, he is a small frame fellow.
However Rigo & GGG do have power added by technique.
I believe they could move up and be successful.

    Ray.
When I see him, I think he should stay put at 160. He's not really a big guy.

golovkin and rigondeaux have opponents who are already in their divisions. ward is sitting on his hands waiting for people to move up into his division. choice is obvious.

I don't think GGG should move up before getting a shot at the lineal title, maybe a catch weight with Chavez Jr could make sense, but I think he should focus on getting that damn title shot.

Ward ... 168, up or down, he can move wherever he likes, it is fine as far as I'm concerned. But he he must finally fight.
He's wasting his prime years inactive , such a waste of talent.

I would like Rigo to unify at 122 if possible. he's a really small guy, but with his talent I think he'd be standing his own also against bigger guys.

Donaire was much bigger than he already though.

The one that should really move up is the Super Junior Middleweight Champion Saul Alvarez. Why 155? Either make 154 or, if you can't, move up.

both golovkin and rigo have unfinished business in their weightclass.
Golovkin has plenty of options at this weight, yet he said he wants unifications, therein the problem lies.Quillin and Martinez have avoided and averted the guy like the dark plague, for good reason of course,Gennady would have kill them.

Murray,Soliman and then the eventual WBC champion down the line make sense, though it appears GGG doesn't want to drag his feet within the division and wants the biggest fights available,I believe this has always been the case,he is simply having issues regarding financing a titlist to get in the ring with him.Martinez can not be blamed for taking the Cotto fight,as Cotto won't be for taking a Canelo fight.

I would very much like to see him clear the weight out completely,Ward appears eager to face him yet reluctant to move up to face a significant test in Ward, instead holding on for these guys to come up or down for him ! Forget Ward,he has issues of his own regardless.

I also would like to see GGG face an opponent for the lineal championship, whether that be Cotto or somebody else, should Cotto vacate.it sounds as though GGG wants the money fights and will seek to call Cotto out, this to me would be suicide on Cotto's part,GGG is clearly the no.1 at the weight, and Cotto is too small a guy to be competing here.nothing will change my views.

Murray arguably beat Martinez over a year before he lost to Cotto,Murray would be a great keep busy opponent whilst the issues with the WBC belt transpire.Murray against Rubio for the vacant belt then GGG against the winner would be a phenomenal fight.

Any news on Cotto's plans ?

Rigo also has numerous fights available to himself still at his weight,I see no reason for him to move up.

I don't see what is phenomenal about Golovkin vs. Murray/Rubio. Murray would a decent win, like Macklin and Geale, but not a win that would put Golovkin in another stratosphere, and that's what he needs. That's why his promoter badly wants to match him with Chavez Jr. or Cotto.

None of them need to move up. If they want to stay where they are, they can.

Ward needs to get his ass in the ring, though.

                  Pros:
                  - No big names at 160
                  - Move up to fight Ward and possibly Froch for more money

                  Cons:
                  - Stay at 160 and fight Soliman, Murray, N'dam, Mora, etc.
                  - Wait for a potential Canelo or Cotto fight

                  Ward:
                  Pros:
                  - Cleaned out 168 already, no meaningful fights left there
                  - Kovalev & Stevenson at 175: money + legacy

                  Cons:
                  - Chavez Jr. payday
                  - Wait for GGG to move up in weight: big fight

                  Rigo:
                  Pros:
                  - Avoided by super bantamweight champions/top contenders
                  - Donaire, Lomachenko, Gradovich at 126

                  Cons:
                  - Frampton & Santa Cruz: biggest money fight for him
                  - Way too small at 126 (5'4"; small frame)

What do you guys think? Who should move up in weight and who should stay where he is? Explain why.
I don't understand how people can be so blind by saying Ward cleaned out the division. Dude didn't really do **** to clean it out but beat a guy here and there. Froch deserves more credit in cleaning it out way more than Ward, even if he lost to Ward.

He beat Froch, Kessler, Abraham, Bika. Froch cleaned out a division? Which one?

I knew cripple g supporters wouldn't support this coward to move up and take on Ward, Chavez Jr Froch or any of those guys. They want him to keep beating bums so they can keep building him up as some unstoppable force. Last guy they did that for even up getting knocked around by Danny and Rigo. .....
