Has froch fought anybody as legendary as Pacquiao, argueably boxings biggest superstar since Ali? Or mayweather, who is noteably one of boxings slickest fighter? Also cotto stepped up 3 times and fought guys that everyone else was avoiding: plasterito(in his prime when the plaster was nice and fresh) clottey(before the ninja turtle movie came out) and Martinez(albeit after martinez had been worn out by ****sexual doggy style sex).

Also cotto did this in the most lucrative weight classes, the triforce if you will of boxing: welterweight, junior middleweight, and most recently, middleweight

      That's pure myth.

Margo was the self proclaimed "most avoided fighter" BEFORE P-Will kicked his ass.

Clottey was never avoided by anyone.

Martinez was the complete opposite of "most avoided" when Cotto fought him. He was seen as an easy mark.

Do you mean you give him credit for taking the fights and getting his ass beat, as opposed to NOT taking the fights and leaving a glaring question mark instead?
A resume is not a list of accomplishments, its a synopsis of one's complete career. Given what the TS listed-wins and losses for both-that's what I evaluated.

In that context, Miguel losing (as he was expected to do) to 2 of the very best fighters ever, one at a weight of 145lbs, isn't a blight on his career resume IMO.

Its not about giving credit-its just about evaluating everything -positive and negative-nd making a choice.

Froch wasn't supposed to beat Kessler, Dirrell, Taylor, Groves 2 a lot of people picked against him.

So Froch>Cotto for constantly rising up.
but Cotto loses are to far superior than Froch loses.
Ward and Kessler vs Pacquiao and Mayweather
Trout I thought it was just a bad night

Then PWill got schooled by Quintana who Cotto smashed in 5 rounds. Pwill wasn't **** the last things I remember from his career are being put to sleep by Sergio and getting a gift decision against Lara (worse than Canelo's win somehow.) As for Martinez, who exactly avoided him? No one at 160 avoided him, he chose to call out WW's and JMW's just like Ward did, you can't duck a guy outside of your division.

I wouldn't say either guy has a legendary resume, Cotto has the edge. And yes, they both made demands; Cotto fought Martinez and Margarito (rematch) at catchweights, Froch refused to fight Abraham in Germany and threatened to leave the super 6.

Cotto stays getting whooped in his major fights, froch a lot better wins and lost to ward. So it easy to call fronch better resume
