Does it upset Floyd haters knowing that Ali was just as hated as he was at the time?

Ali was easily hated on. Civil rights era. Refused to go to Vietnam. Was a loud mouth ****y kid BEFORE even winning the title.
Floyd is hated because he's a hypocrite to the maximum, beats women, and his career is criticized harshly by many.

On the same token, there were some fights out there, but there are ALWAYS fights out there-eventually a fighter has to call it a day when they choose to as there will always be the next crop of fighters.
Though I do not consider Mayweather to be "TBE" or on par with Ali (which is next to impossible these days), he is a great fighter.
I just have 1 question-is your frustration with Mayweather the fact he retired for 2 years and you couldn't watch him or is it something else, because you guys seem really upset that he left your lives.Last edited by damned1974; 07-29-2014, 02:43 AM.

Ali was 1,000 times more hated than Mayweather could ever hope to be. I don't recall anybody ever refusing to call Floyd by his name, protesting his very presence in the streets wherever he went, or threatening him with death.
Ali was hated because he was an outspoken black radical. Mayweather is hated because he's a mouthy, insecure, and immature turd sandwich.

Lacking the racism the ts imagines and hopes still exists as it did back in Ali's day. Floyd will never be what Ali was, is, and always shall be to boxing, America, and the world. In other words, Floyd couldn't carry Ali's jock strap.
