Golovkin's people: Ward makes no financial sense.

Cotto's people: Golovkin makes no financial sense.

Froch's people: Golovkin makes no financial sense.

Chavez Jr: Wants Golovkin but is not signing Arum's 2-fight contract.

To Gennady Golovkin's people...Andre Ward is available. Make him an offer and stop asking if he's fighting or not. Call him up and find out.

Notice that Golovkin would not be making offers to Cotto or Froch or Chavez Jr. That's cause they make a lot more money than him. So Top Rank sent him a good offer for a PPV vs Chavez, which he signed pronto. GGG is definitely coming up fast, but it's not on him (YET) to make an offer to a guy that just made 2m for a tuneup, to mediocre ratings.

Ward calls out Golovkin and Golovkin claims Ward has no fan base and can't draw on PPV. Golovkin's promoter mentions fighting Froch in Wembley stadium and Froch's promoter says the same thing about Golovkin. Apparently Cotto said the same thing about Golovkin.

What this tells me is that GGG is not nearly as big of a star as he, his team and his fans on this site think he is. So, if he wants a big money fight against Cotto or Froch, he has no choice but to prove himself against Andre Ward. How f....ing ironic!
Golovkin, his promoters, his fans and HBO don't have to worry about such a thing. Cotto will relinquish his WBC title, Rubio and Murray will fight for it. GGG will fight Dmitry Chudinov in a big Kazakhstan vs Russia event. It's not exactly Andre Ward, but it's still a battle of undefeated fighters.

If that big fight fails to happen, he could maybe get permission to unify with Soliman or permission from WBA/WBC to fight for the vacant WBC title vs Rubio with his WBA title on the line as well, and pay step aside money to Murray.

Will Golovkin's team claim there's no money in a Rubio fight if they can make it?

In his last 5 fights, Rubio went 5-0 with 4KO's. He stopped Domenico Spada, just took him 2 quick rounds to dispatch of Dionisio Miranda, outboxed Marcus Upshaw in a 12 round UD, TKO'ed Mchel Rosales, and destroyed former 147 Lineal/WBC champ Carlos Baldomir in 4 rounds.

Does Golovkin really want any of that?

He calls out small little Cotto, says he wants Mayweather, was about to fight B fighter Chavez Jr. But you don't ever hear him calling out Marco Antonio Solis, I mean Rubio.

Rubio was the third option for the Proksa fight, after Quillin and Macklin declined. And was their main target before Rosado signed, but neither time wanted anything to do with it. Now the money is better so he might shell up and try going the distance for the money, but hopefully there's better options out there.

You sound pretty butthurt over lineal MW champ and lineal SWW getting the callout. You think they should be spared cause they're more like catchweight, paper lineal champs?

Golovkin is staying at 160 and it's his right to do so. I mean Hopkins stayed for a while at 160, Hagler, the same. But it's cool with them doe but not Golovkin.

I respect froch for saying what he said, it makes him no less of a man or a fighter.

So if, and I say if, Golovkin beats Ward, then will the big fights that bring popularity come to him or he will take Ward's spot as the man who is avoided even more?
I mean look into perspective, how GGG can become popular if he won't get the fights with boxerts who have a huge following?
