Matter of fact, what's the lineage of the title you're on here b1tchin' about. You don't even know WTF you're talking about. Since you know so much about my argument. Explain this one to me. If Cotto relinquishes the lineal middleweight title and doesn't lose it in the ring? Exactly how to you suppose GGG is gonna fight for it? The lineal title is the man who beat the man who beat the man. Therefore when the champion "relinquishes" it, the title is done. How do we go about crowning another one? That's right, GGG could obliterate the division until there's no question he's THE MAN. Which he can do with or without a Cotto fight. Damn I'm tired of these f.uckin' morons deciding their gonna follow boxing closely, subscribe to Ring magazine, and act like The Ring belt is the lineal title. Which is exactly what yo dumbass did.

In Cotto's last 10 fights.....he's only fought two that were truly in the big leagues. That's 20%!! Now let's talk guys that we know that weren't....Jennings, Clottey(so so), Foreman, Mayorga, Margarito(not anymore), Trout, and Rodriguez. That's 70%!!! You can even make a case to add Martinez who was coming off a long lay off and injury.
I see through the bullshit that is Miguel Cotto.
Now I'm not here wanting him to fight Golovkin because he just got to the division and he has the right to build his body into 160. My thing is that he talks like he's the grand shit, which he isn't.

It sounds like you have a fair idea already but cotto is able to vacate the title and you acted like no one in the history of the lineal title has ever done this when they have.

Not sure if this makes sense.....
Lineal championship
In professional boxing, the lineal championship of a weight class is a notional world championship title. It is initially held at some moment in time by a boxer universally acclaimed as the best in the class. Another boxer can win the lineal championship only by defeating the reigning lineal champion in the ring. The lineal champion is described as "the man who beat the man".[1][2] There is no single canonical list of lineal champions at any weight class, because there is no agreed method of what to do when the current champion retires or moves to a different weight class.
