I'm a Cotto fan too. Even though I think he deserves the criticism that the gets for ducking GGG, he's got a ton of leverage with the MW title now and he'd be dumb not to use it to negotiate a rematch with Floyd. Floyd would love to get that MW title, so I think that's the fight we'll see. No way does Cotto take a dangerous fight before he works that option.

I actually answered you a long time ago. I referenced historical precidents that you likely had no clue about because you probably haven't been following boxing very long. Your stance is "Cotto's the lineal champion, my favorite fighter is the #1 contender." My stance is, "fighting once in a division doesn't make you natural in that division." Its really nothing to talk about. Ypu want Cotto to "relenquish" a title that really doesn't mean much anyway considering the guy you want him to fight is already considered the class of the division anyway. The fight is pretty much a waste of time for anybody who's sole interest isn't getting GGG in the ring with someone there's a 99% likelihood he'll beat. Floyd is technically the recognized jr middleweight champion. But I understand enough about boxing that I realize he's not a real jr middleweight and isn't even relevant to the comings and goings in that division. Watch a lil longer and take certain fighters d1cks outta your mouth, and you'll think past belt this belt that one day too.Comment

Maybe that's where I differ from a lotta fight fans. I don't need a belt to tell me who's who. Cotto can have 100 belts. Its not gonna make him middleweight. And I don't need a belt to tell me GGG would be favored against every middleweight in the sport. So when i think about the middleweight division, GGG is the class and Cotto really isn't even relevant. Cotto beat a guy that several middleweights would have beaten that night.Comment

The only reason he went up to 160 was to make history versus someone with 1 leg.... Nobody said he's staying thereI actually answered you a long time ago. You brought up Pac winning the lmw title and said why didnt I hold him to the same standard as I hold Cotto to.
The fact is Pac relinquished pretty much straight after the fight while Cotto hasnt.
And I asked why dont you hold Cotto to that same standard and you have no answer because you were caught out on your own contradictions.
Go through my posts, I havnt contradicted myself like you have or just call me more names because that is all you can do.Comment

These dip****s know that. Its all about getting GGG in with guys they know he'll beat. They're new fans. They're scared to see their favorite fighters lose. That's why they're scared of the Ward fight. I imagine you got over that type **** somewhere between the ass pasting Tito took from B-Hop and Cotto took from Plasterman.Comment
