Who gives a f**k. There have been many non-PPV fighters getting a crack at the top PPV fighters throughout PPV history. I will not be surprised if Cotto ends up fighting somebody not named Canelo or Golovkin. LOLComment

Not really. Hopkins fought at middleweight for 100yrs. There's always gonna be somebody new to fight. And if not, he fought guys like Robert Allen and Antwan Echols multiple times. Nobody accused him for avoiding guys like a RJ rematch and Calzage waiting for the welterweight stars like Tito and DLH to come to him, which he did. Hagler was a career middleweight. How many times have you heard somebody say, "oh he stayed at middleweight and never went up and challenged Michael Stinks and just waited for blown up welterweight Leonard, Duran, and Hearns to come to him?" Which he did. My guess would be none. They fight in different weight divisions.
So ward has cleaned out smw and there is nothing left there for him to do.
GGG still hasnt cleaned out the mw division and still has work to do there.
So by that definition shouldnt ward be the one who should move up to find new challengers?
As a fan, I would like to see Ward and GGG move up to take on new challenges. But I have ZERO issues with them not wanting to. My beef is solely with these hypocritical muf.uckaz around him that justify GGG doing the exact same thing to Ward that Cotto is doing to him. And to be real, if one is any worse than the other, its GGG. Cotto actually has the drawing history to justify his stance. GGG is no bigger star than Ward. Hell, Ward draws more in Oakland than GGG draws anywhere.Comment
