Weight is a technicality especially since Golovkin's team said they'd fight anyone from 154-168.

Both fights aren't happening for the same reason - financial.

One is ducking, one isn't. Depending which side of the fantard spectrum you're on.

So? The excuse are still the same and Team GGG were vocal in the past about fighting anyone.

A Canelo fight would be bigger I admit that. I do think however Cotto vs GGG at MSG would do very good numbers.

Doesn't make sense for PPV and thats whats hurting matches being made. These fighters want large revenue only capable if its through successful PPV which likely isnt possible with only one "major" attraction.

Not too surprising. There's a downside to matching your fighter against soft touches - word to Team Golovkin. Lesson implemented.

I agree. This fight doesn't make any financial sense.

Take this Loeffler. What was this idiot saying about Golovkin vs. Ward again? Oh yeah... it doesn't make financial sense! Cotto doesn't even have to fight Golovkin anyway. He needs to go back to 154.

If Cotto is ducking Golovkin, then Golovkin is ducking Ward. Yes or no?

I don't blame Miguel for not taking this fight. I don't think he should be at MW.
