I cant see any way for this fight to happen. Jr cant make 160 and Cotto wont fight if Jr comes in heavy-nor should he.

Love Cotto, hate this matchup. The Arum/Roach blueprint strikes again? I hope not.
No Arum in this picture anymore -- this is about Al Haymon and the tens of millions he promised to Jr.

Interesting -- when was this Haymon deal finalized? Would this be Chavez's first fight without Arum?

Then you can see Oscar pushing Canelo in front? At a, let's say, 157 catchweight?

Technically, Jr still has one fight left with TR... You may be right it's Arum's stuff.

As a Cotto fan, I don't like this fight. Chavez is too big. I don't know if Cotto can keep him off for 12 rounds.

I remember that back in 2012 there was a Chavez vs Cotto fight in talks... Which made Martinez literally mad...

If by some miracle Jr gets to 160, Cotto will be just fine. He'll have a punching bag in front of him that will be too drained to even blink.

Chavez draining himself in the last fight on his contract? Definitely Arum stuff.

But you may still remember that the "punching bag" eventually caught Martinez late...
