GGG is not the champion....he is a titleholder...HUGE difference.

You cant anoint somebody in a weight class that already has a true champion...the man that beat the man.

Until he beats Cotto(he should be favored) he is nothing more than the number one contender.

Mw makes hw look like a golden era, Sam Soliman being a champion is worst then Ray Austin being a contender.

This is a clear case where lineal titles mean nothing. I'm sure all of you lineal title freaks supported Dariusz/Erdei instead of RJJ through the years.

What a joke. Soliman has had his ups and downs but he's had nothing but professional dedication to the sport. He looked great in outboxing Sturm.

The lineal title means you are the man that beat the man. Titles are won in the ring and not message boards.

There have been bigger upsets than what GGG vs Cotto would be if Cotto won so we just cant assume GGG would beat him and just totally disregard that Cotto EARNED his title.

I credit Roy Jones as being the guy that made me more than a casual fan, and he is my all-time favorite fighter.

Regardless it doesnt change the fact the technically he has never won a lineal title.

              Facts are facts

Before Jones won those vacant belts, DM beat every top lightheavy title holder while Jones was at 168 and they stripped him.

Without that DM win, Jones won every trinket at the weight but never beat the number 2 guy...at one point Jones had wins over 7/10 ranked guys at 175 thats scary but he still never beat DM and Jones is my guy

I don't think GGG beats everyone at 154. However, if those 154 pound fighters move up to 160 then yes he does. If he goes down to 154 then no.

154 no question about it. But 160 has the most exciting champion in my opinion.

                    lol gtfo.

most people with an ounce of working brain-cells would recognize GGG as the champ.

160 clearly has the best fighter, 154 has the main star attraction in Canelo...
How about Canelo steps up and fights him?
