    WTF?

GGG to swarm and punish that body? What the **** in **** are you talking about? At least watch either guy here before being talking such ****.

GGG doesn't swarm. He fights at a composed, methodical pace of good pressure, measures his shots and tries to make what he does count with power more than just swarm. He tends to wing his shots and gets wide in close and when he's trying to go for it. He's a typical medium range power puncher. Not remotely a swarmer.

Everything that GGG's style does was Toney's bread and butter. That was when he consistently looked like one of the greatest fighters in history P4P. He was significantly faster, impossible to hurt and knock out, would counter absolutely everything GGG threw wide, would negate his right hand with his own counter right, and he was as hard to hit with the left to the body as Floyd is today.

GGG has nothing in his style to trouble a prime Toney. Nothing. Power doesn't work. A 70+ fight from 160-200+ pounds has proven that. A solid, medium pressure fighter that tended to wing shots and very much relied on his power was Toney's dream fight.

But, keep being pathetically daft in falling for the hype. It's hilarious.

You really have to wonder if Toney has the best chin ever, or at least top 5 or so. Is there anyone definitively harder to stop than James Toney?

Took flush shots from Holyfield, Peter...a former middleweight. Just impressive. Another thing that rarely gets mentioned is that I don't recall Toney ever low blowing or rabbit punching or any other illegal maneuver ever.

i think its top 5 of all time. he has what, close to 90 fights? and never been stopped. his 3 "knockdowns" are controversial as well

sam peter stepped on his foot and caused him to fall, roy jones kind of caught him off balance and made him stumble back. reggie johnson legitimately dropped him but it was more of a flash KD and toney got right up and went back to work

thats the only LEGIT knockdown of toneys 90 fight career. keep in mind he fought at heavy weight and didnt get hurt there. yet somehow GGG is going to knock him out?

Golovkin wasn't finding the mark every time against geale. How do you expect he would be hitting toney easily.
Geale uses his head and legs. Toney mainly uses upper body movement, much less leg work than Geale. People acting like GGG wouldn't land on Toney are dreaming. GGG has a great jab and excellent accuracy when he doesn't load up. Toney would take punishment, win or lose. GGG isn't some ordinary fighter with average skill and a punch.
