TBH, I've never seen a more exciting fighter then when Floyd was still named the Pretty Boy.

His performances against Diego Corrales and Arturo Gatti were straight up offensive and defensive masterpieces.

I think the casual fans have spoken with their PPV purchases-Floyd is about 3x more exciting than GGG.
Who finds a decision over an underdog to be exciting?

I think the casual fans lack the knowledge and they're not in the know of GGG yet, I understand you're trolling but I'm just hitting you with cold hard fact that Floyd Mayweathers past 3 fights have been very underwhelming...
I view Floyd in the same fashion as I do with CoD, its a trend its became so world recognised and renowned that people will buy the same crap year in and year out without a single question answered my point to prove that?
Berto Vs Floyd sold a decent number when it was overpriced at $75
CoD Black Ops 3 has broke the record for CoD games sold again

Casual fans don't ask question, they lack the knowledge but once you have them in the loop/trend they'll likely keep lapping it all up.

I must say however its a pity Floyd fought so unimpressive against Manny Pacquiao because the whole world was watching and at that point instead of giving everyone a show and proving why people pay for a fight (to be entertained) Floyd took the easy route and sc****d by the skin of his teeth to a points decision.
I think that sort of sums up his career, unimpressive or perhaps we could say he's very talented but he is easily forgotten I doubt the same will be said about a foreign fighter who is trying his best to KO every opponent he fights will be thought of as negatively.

I'm not trolling at all. You and others are entitled to your opinions-they just are not representative of other fans.

I've made the same point before the GGG PPV under performed-is it really exciting to watch someone KO a no hoper?

Put it this way-when these kinds of fights are on PBC you and others do not watch and give reasons why. Yet none of you ever consider that fans outside of NSB see GGG's fights the same way you see some PBC fights.

Also, the casual fan likely holds it against the other guy and not Floyd like you do. You (again, you do not like Floyd and have an agenda) blame everything on Floyd, as do some on NSB.

Outside of NSB, others blame Manny for not fighting hard or Canelo for not going for broke. You would never consider this for obvious reasons.

                Serious questions

what does GGG do that is exciting?

In the other sports you like do you find it exciting when the heavy favorite beats an opponent that has no chance to win?

I'll put it this way. I feel way more excitement preceding a Mayweather event than I do preceding a Golovkin fight. To me it is interesting to watch how Mayweather dismantles, figures out a new challenge. For years I wondered how he would figure Manny Pacquiao out. Manny's angles, his blazing speed, and his punching power I believed would give Floyd a lot of trouble just like the rest of boxing fans. So when the fight happened I was glued to my screen like the rest of us, not because I thought the fight would be exciting but because I was curious as to how Floyd would solve this unique puzzle that is Manny Pacquiao. And again, like he has so many times before Floyd figured out a new puzzle.

People who have been to Vegas the weekend of a Mayweather fight tell me nothing matches the electricity in Vegas when Floyd fights. Not Manny Pacquiao, not Golovkin, not Cotto or Canelo. Hate him or love him, Floyd invoked a lot of emotion in people like very few fighters who came before him.
I never cared for the Money Mayweather persona but I see why it worked financially. The man is a boxing virtuoso who used people's hate in order to line his pockets and it worked brilliantly.

No one looking to "outscore" his opponent is more exciting the man looking to KO his opponent. Even if the KO artist is extremely talentless he will bring the anticipation of a KO to the ring.
Mayweather is simular to Wilfred Benitez and both have talent within their style and form but theres nothing excioting unless they fight someone with power. Then the style & form is put to a real test. The last 7 or 8 years of Mayweather were against hand picked opponents who looked like they had power but as we saw when they stepped up to a Mayweather or Pacman were Ko'd or displayed no power at all.
"the hard punching Ricky Hatton"? Really!
I think Mayweather to date has fought better opposition than GGG but thats not GGG fault, his contracts have been offered to supposed better opponents but their not complying. Maybe the money isn't right I don't know that but
the bottom line is easy to see and read and its not using the word EXCITING
                      for Floyd.

                      Ray
