I've made the same point before the GGG PPV under performed-is it really exciting to watch someone KO a no hoper?

Put it this way-when these kinds of fights are on PBC you and others do not watch and give reasons why. Yet none of you ever consider that fans outside of NSB see GGG's fights the same way you see some PBC fights.

Also, the casual fan likely holds it against the other guy and not Floyd like you do. You (again, you do not like Floyd and have an agenda) blame everything on Floyd, as do some on NSB.

Outside of NSB, others blame Manny for not fighting hard or Canelo for not going for broke. You would never consider this for obvious reasons.
First off Floyd wasn't injured and he was in fantastic shape, he had absolutely ZERO reason to not go in for the kill a 40 yo JMM could do it but you mean to tell me Floyd the bigger man in height and weight couldn't do it against a guy who was injured?
I'm a realist in that term, I'd not call anyone a casual fan for that I'd just make the correct call and say they were biased which is blatant as day.

I understand you're on this whole black supremacist (looking at several of your posts for me shows that) thing but you need to tone it down a touch because what you accuse others of i.e. always blaming Floyd you're absolutely guilty of defending Floyd at every turn even when it is his fault.

In the other sports you like do you find it exciting when the heavy favorite pitty-pats to a boring decision over a smaller and shot (Pacquaio) or limited (Berto) opponent that has no chance to win?
Floyd was not a heavy favorite over Pacquiao. That fight was seen as competitive right up until the night of the fight and the numbers will prove it. People would not have bought that fight in record numbers if they did not believe the fight would be competitive. Sadly, it wasn't.

GGG however was a HUGE favorite over Lemieux and he still boxed very carefully. Yeah, he eventually got the stoppage but that fight wasn't all that exciting and you know it. Also, the PPV numbers of Golovkins fight will show people either don't know or don't care who he is. It also shows that people will not pay for fights that are mismatches.

It's obvious you don't like Asian people, so why did you choose a Chinese person's name as a username: John Woo?

When you're that good you don't become the underdog in your dominant/natural division, you want to blame GGG for being that good?

The fight was competitive to a degree, it was a stinker it reminded me of Haye Vs Wladimir except I'd say Wladimir did better in his big match up compared to what Floyd did (Floyd did lose a good few rounds in this fight).

and this is unlike a floyd mayweather fight how?

gennady golovkin knocks people the f#ck out. he's aggressive. it's very exciting.

you've got an agenda that says otherwise, so do your thing.

To me it is interesting to watch how Mayweather dismantles, figures out a new challenge. For years I wondered how he would figure Manny Pacquiao out. Manny's angles, his blazing speed, and his punching power I believed would give Floyd a lot of trouble just like the rest of boxing fans. So when the fight happened I was glued to my screen like the rest of us, not because I thought the fight would be exciting but because I was curious as to how Floyd would solve this unique puzzle that is Manny Pacquiao. And again, like he has so many times before Floyd figured out a new puzzle.

People who have been to Vegas the weekend of a Mayweather fight tell me nothing matches the electricity in Vegas when Floyd fights. Not Manny Pacquiao, not Golovkin, not Cotto or Canelo. Hate him or love him, Floyd invoked a lot of emotion in people like very few fighters who came before him.
I never cared for the Money Mayweather persona but I see why it worked financially. The man is a boxing virtuoso who used people's hate in order to line his pockets and it worked brilliantly.

i was in vegas for mayweather - alvarez, BTW.

excitement during a fight and buzz before it are completely different things.
