The answer is not a popular one but it depends on what you consider exciting. At no point was Golovkin in any danger last night but he did give the fans a KO which has the same effect as a bright shiny light to some people.

Floyd might be the most gifted fighter in boxing.. GGG, far more interesting.

Boxing is almost reverse logic, most of us love a good fight, true boxing is the opposite, Mayweather is the master of landing punches mostly light ones wile not getting hit that is exactly what art boxing is about. It not always as gripping as a good old tear up.. but most fans of boxing appreciate Mayweather for what he is.

That said I'd rather watch a GGG fight.
