Except when he saw the chance for a sucker punch, like against Ortiz. :lo1:

To what throne? Mayweather's "throne" was the equivalent of a toilet seat.

Could Ward make a GGG fight boring by his constant clamping and clinching? By his dirty, unsportsmanlike head butts and hit-while-holding tactics?

Ward negotiation threads generate more traffic than the master thread for GGG vs. Lemieux.

No, Lemieux is a bigger puncher, and has a world title. He hasn't had an 18 month layoff.

The stoppage in Broner-Khabib was unnecessary, the fight was nearly over and Khabib wasn't hurt as bad as he had been in round 11. It was just a gift from a Haymon referee to Broner - the same ref wants to work more Haymon events.

Tells me you do not think GGG could beat Ward so you already have the deflection prepped and ready. FFS Freedom.

I didn't mention Floyd yet you immediately went there. tells me you knew he was the best.

True, because that is the only real drama in his career, will he actually fight Ward.

Does anyone not trolling or hating even think Lemuiex has any chance to win?

Freedom, Deveel916 and others don't apply any of their garbage theories to GGG or any of his opponents. So expect to see flippage and hypocrisy through Sunday.

This is turning comical... Why do you try so hard to play ****** here?

Check with The Ring P4P; they are ranking Ward at #2 and Kovalev at #3...

It's simple: Ward vs Kovalev actually IS the fight for that "throne"...

Most people on NSB have GGG ahead of Kov. Ring doesn't but you and others have pointed out the Ring rankings are garbage. To use them to support your point is surprising to see.

I also think we can agree Kov/Stevenson @175 should happen before Ward/Kov. It's the better fight at 175-but alas Kov skipped out on the purse bid.

As a reminder-Ward/GGG is about getting GGG top competition since he gets avoided by top guys at 160.
