Idk what happened in this fight. I was watching Lawler vs Brown (UFC) on Fox. By the time that was over, GGG and Geale was just getting started. I haven't heard anyone say they thought Perez should have won. The point deduction was a bit lame I heard from one person but he understood why it was called. Oh well, idc anyway. Not a fan of either fighter.

Perez should blame fighting like a drunk slob for half the fight.

I ask the same question about Cuban school and it seems that is very amateur in essence and doesn't care much about pleasing the public and that is why the Cuban boxers are not very popular.

Perez gassed the hell out in the 2nd half.

I picked Jennings to win comfortably but he didn't look to great either

I have located the Cuban School: Perez found it on the corner of Dunkin and Donuts.

It was an ugly fight but he's got every right to be pissed, these guys fought 12 rounds only to have a fight decided by a ref who was already willing to take a point off before the fight started (said so when talking to the guys in the locker room) yet didn't take a point from jennings for throwing a punch on the break or after the bell which he did, soon as this guy hits on the break he loses a point. Also wtf was jennings trying to do tackle him? Bad fight from both men...undercard fighters at best and not very good undercard fighters at that. Perez needs to really learn how to use his energy efficiently and how to tie up his opponent properly, he got mauled to the body with all that horrible clinching.

The fight was closer than it should have been. Perez hugged and leaned his way through the last six rounds. The point deduction just gave him an excuse for his ****ty performance. No way in hell should a fighter win a decision fighting like that. Jennings threw more punches and landed the cleaner and more effective punches.

Mike has only himself to blame here...

He looked very good in the first half of the fight, and He probably swept the first 5 or 6 rounds easily, like he did against Carlos Takam. But then he slowed down tremendously. He really gave the fight away and he has only himself to blame here. The deduction was costly, but he made the fight close to point where the deduction made a difference.

He needs to get back in shape and lose about 10 lbs.
