when Cotto can fight a less risky opponent in December, and line up that Canelo fight in May
No harm here. Cotto turned down $10 million from Canelo to get that MW belt from the one-legged champ, but I think he knows he can make at least $15 to fight Canelo now, and that's before PPV. I read somewhere that Canelo may want one more fight before Cotto, but I think it would be ****** to fight Kirkland too.

      GGG fighting another paper champion.

The Chavez fight didn't happen because of Arum not because Chavez jr. was scared. Arum wanted Chavez to extend his promotional contract for I think another 3 fights to get the GGG fight and Chavez declined. GGG team is being disingeniune when they try to say or implie Chavez didn't want the fight.

I don't understand why some people think the best fighters in GGG's weight class won't fight him because the money's not there. What real boxing fan wouldn't want to see the best fight the best in the division? I think any fight where GGG is taking on the best competition available should be an easy sell. If he hasn't built up enough interest with the bulk of viewing and paying public, they must be really ****** or prefer fights with less exciting fighters who don't have one punch knockout power and boxing skills to go with it. I would way rather see GGG vs Ward or Cotto or Froch than the massive money grab that is Floyd Mayweather in the boring, monotonous fights he's involved in. I never understood why so many people buy PPV to watch such an unexciting main event because that's what you're guaranteed with Floyd Mayweather and he has cherry picked his opponents all the way. He's the #1 p4p and boxing's biggest attraction yet he has a boring, defensive style while GGG guarantees action. Doesn't make much sense to me.

It gives Cotto no choice but to fight the Unified Middleweight champion of the world.
