I feel like if you consistently KO these type of low caliber fighters over and over that instead of warranting massive hype, it should encourage the fans of said fighter to actually step up in class and challenge himself.

Take for example Gennady. His fans cherish his wins over Geale, Macklin, Rosado, Ishida and other JMW's. Objective boxing fans however call for him to actually fight people that are considered worthy. Shouldn't his fans do the same?

It really isn't too shocking though when you consider that most GG fans are casuals or are entirely new to the sport.
The top dogs are ducking him or they want more money if they are to take an ass whoopin

If you're visiting boxing scene you're bound to find posters who hype fighter up beyond what they are. Pacquaio is a great fighter for this generation, but he's not a top 5 ATG. Same goes for Mayweather.

Let's take a look at Matthysse. Some would argue he was overhyped. However too even his biggest fans with some sense of rationality, he was not invincible and had flaws. Fortunately for him, it didn't appear that any fighters at 140 had the ability to exploit those flaws. I'll admit, my doctor actually wanted to remove my tonsils until he realized they were just Matthysse's balls firmly implanted in my throat, but even I realized after beating Garcia, (which I'm still eating crow for) he would run into problems at 147 with guys like Bradley, Mayweather, and Pacquiao. Just because he's not an ATG doesn't mean he's an overhyped bum.

However I will give the TS some credit as GGG is massively overrated and it makes me sick that he keeps ducking Sergio, Cotto, Quillen, and even Murray.

lol you know what TBE stands for, right? Referring just to his own generation would require dropping the 'E' and adding three other letters to the acronym.
