What do you consider unwarranted hype?

Personally I consider constantly getting highlight KO reels against guys who have no chance and are only there for the paycheck unwarranted hype.

I feel like if you consistently KO these type of low caliber fighters over and over that instead of warranting massive hype, it should encourage the fans of said fighter to actually step up in class and challenge himself.

Take for example Gennady. His fans cherish his wins over Geale, Macklin, Rosado, Ishida and other JMW's. Objective boxing fans however call for him to actually fight people that are considered worthy. Shouldn't his fans do the same?

It really isn't too shocking though when you consider that most GG fans are casuals or are entirely new to the sport.

I believe in the thread about fighters having a hard time with fighters they shouldn't he listed:
              pac v clottey
              pac v marg
              pac v mosley

Hes just a male groupie. Anything that is not black sucks. Once Mayweather told him to hate on Pac he had no choice. Now he sees 2 white fighters coming up in GGG and Kovalev and he has to hate. Funny I dont see him hate on Quillin who struggles with D level fighters. This dude is a racist f@ck.
