If Cotto can take and/or avoid GGG's power its a very interesting fight.
Why would anyone compare the Margs fight that happened HOW many years ago???? That's not even relevant today clown. Get with the times. Yeah let's talk about how good Amir Khan was back in 2010!!!! Let's talk about how Floyd has knocked out 2 guys in 9 YEARS!!!! (Ortiz doesn't count) . Okay let's not talk about back on the day. Today, Cotto loses a decision to Canelo and gets knocked out by Gennady. I would really love to see Canelo fight Gennady.

I dont think Chavez Jr is avoiding GGG, 1.5 mil to fight GGG on PPV as the A side, after just making 1.5 to fight vera on HBO in a rematch, Or 3 mill and a 3 fight deal to stay with top rank? I think thats a legit gripe.

Obviously but if he he got shredded by little Pac when he was fresher the much bigger and stronger GGG destroys him.

I didnt make that up the article is right here on BScene. But Chavez is the bigger Draw out of the 2 and is considered the A side no matter how undeserving it may be, he brings the mexican gate with him. It was a bad deal.

The right trainer does make a difference as you saw in Maidana. Not the same Maidana that lost to Devon Alexander and Khan back in 2010. We're not excusing that Sergio was shot at 40, and Cotto was flawless in the fight at 37 yrs old, and a small middleweight. A prime 32 year old solid middleweight like GGG, makes Cotto old again in ONE night. Way too stronger, he imposes his will, has a relentless attack, and can knock you out with either hand. As much as I like Cotto, he gets destroyed by Gennady. He has a much better shot beating Canelo but at least he loses a decision to Canelo. GGG blows up Cotto, and GGG stops Canelo late too.
What the F·ck are you talking about?

                    What are you 15?

I was repling to someone who replied to me saying that Cotto will stop GGG and I was giving my assessment of why that would not happen.

dimwits like you are why I seldom post anymore, and do some research before you post Mr. know it all boxing fan.

Cotto is 37 going on 33 right? ******

Freddie is not ******. Floyd and Canelo are the cash cows, not GGG. GGG is a very good fighter in a very bad situation. The fighters that want to fight him (Chavez Jr & Ward) can't, and the fighters that can fight him (Cotto & Froch) won't. Cotto should not fight GGG before he gets one of the cash cows, unless he can make at least $15 million fighting GGG, which might be possible in a HBO PPV event w/ GGG in MSG.
