The three common opponents Gomez both stoped him cotto dominated him while Canelo lost some rounds, mayweather- cotto gave him a very tough fight while Canelo by all accounts was dominated, trout- cotto lost to him by a wide margin- while Canelo won by a wide margin! I personally think the score cards where way to wide in both fights!! This is a toss up fight in my eyes!! Yes GGG is possible in Cotto`s worst nightmares.

Golovkin beats Cotto but not because Pacquiao beat Cotto. They are two completely different fighters. GGG would win because of sheer size and power, if he was 5'7"-5'9" and weighed the same as Cotto on fight night, Cotto destroys him. GGG is too big.
