So martinez is not a real mw? Wtf... dude, please, go to sleep. It's been a long night for you. Cotto would beat down 90% of the current mw, which is by far the weakest div in boxing.

it was a great fight, watch Cotto dominate the 1st half of the fight and then lose. What of it? Doesn't make Geale any less of a non-threat

Martinez was far removed from his prime. Cotto isn't beating a prime MW. There's plenty of worse divisions in boxing than MW. Probably about half the sport is weak. MW is an average division with an all time great at the top(GGG, just incase you might of thought I meant Cotto).

Martinez was shot, dont pretend that he wasnt.

Problem is the other 10% mw will probably beat him.

Cotto has nothing for Geale.... he'd get driven into the canvas, late.

I think he's the best middleweight in the world. But that's where the line is drawn. I don't see an elite talent, and that's how he's being touted. I'm not impressed by average to below average defensive fighters. Very few of those guys become genuinely elite fighters. Pacquiao comes to mind as one that bucked the odds. And GGG is no Pacquiao, not even close.
I think that's a pretty unhealthy way to look at things. I wouldn't want to see a boxer fail because of how his supporters act, but I hear where you're coming from with dealing with some of the posters here (I rarely post because of some of the people on this site lol).

As far as him being "genuinely elite" (I don't know your criterion), time will tell I suppose, just like with Manny Pacquiao. His resume could use some names, but he has plenty of time to work on that, and it seems that he wants to since he's talking about unifying. He's fun to watch; Give him that much at least

Stress????? Let's take a stroll down memory lane of some of my favorite fighters. Mike Tyson, watched him get his ass kicked. Sweet Pea, watched him get his ass kicked. Roy Jones, watched him get his ass kicked. James Toney, watched him get his ass kicked. Zab, watchef him get his ass kicked. Still no ulcers. JMM, watched him get his ass kicked. That's what happends where you're an actual boxing fan. You realize that everybody's Fay is coming and jump d1ck to d1ck based on mostly hype and lil to no accomplishment.

BTW, bet that Matthysse d1ck you were riding on taste like its been stuffed Yuri p a hog's ass for a month. How Provodnikov's d1ck tasting nowadays?
