I think that the fact that Mayweather was trained as a boxer, by 2 professional boxers (good ones too), since he could walk, is why he is what he is.
if anything, sr. gets the credit for making floyd who he is today. remember floyd did started off with sr in his early days and then roger took over. when roger took over i felt floyd pretty much was established as a fighter already so roger didnt do much IMO.

Hate to say it, but everything Sr. said was pretty much spot on.

Give roach and Cotto props for stepping up their game...

I think Sr. Is a little jelly because Roach gets to crow a little bit, It'll be alright....

Floyd Sr can say all he wants the floyd " wouldve" beat martinez. But cotto had the balls to move up and take the fight as a sizeable dog. Not floyd. U don't get credit for saying u wudve beat someone, only for those u actually beat

I remember not too long ago sr. Himself said floyd was too small for middleweights....the floyd guys on here were echoing that all the time

Not really. Bc cotto had the balls to fight martinez as a big underdog. Floyd instead took fights VS guererro and ortiz and other easier fights even though mayweather v. Martinez would've been HUGE. It was too risky but now that martinez got ko'd after a great run over the past 4 yrs wit wins over pavlik, williams, barker, etc.it's easy to say he would've won - but he didnt. Just like after pacs nxt loss they'll be saying, see, pac wasn't good, floyd would've beat him. Doesn't work like thatt
