Comments Thread For: Mayweather Sr. Tears Apart Roach Over Cotto Talk

Floyd Mayweather Sr., father and trainer of WBC/WBA 147 and 154-pound champion Floyd Mayweather Jr., completely exploded on Hall of Fame trainer Freddie Roach. Mayweather Sr. was unhappy with Roach's comments regarding outcome of a rematch between Floyd and current WBC middleweight champion Miguel Cotto.

Floyd won a twelve round decision over a game Cotto in 2012. Last year Cotto started training with Roach, who believes he could easily guide the Puerto Rican star to victory in a rematch.

The thing is your son as of to date still has no balls of ever fighting Martinez even if he's as you call busted up.

Now that speaks for itself lol

In your fantasy fights your son always win.

In fantasy fights Your son always wins over Martinez or Pacquiao.

So where's the actual fight? 100 years and counting..Jeez Luis... All bark jeezzzzz

Cotto is my favorite fighter but i have to agree with Mayweather Sr. His win against Martinez is overrated, if he can beat Canelo that would be huge. Even though some people think Canelo sucks I think the kid got skills.

Outside of Jr how's your stable looking Sr? Oh that's right.....either way these two people dislike each other, make the fight happen. The back and forth would be fun.

But the point is Floyd would never go up to 160/159 to fight Sergio.
