If Manny isnt technically sound to you with good boxing skills, then it's because you are not designed to understand the nuances of the sport. Like Berto and Broner, you are intellectually capable of seeing a shoulder turn, but finer aspects of the sport like feinting, pivoting and transitioning from defence to offence etc are too subtle for your kind to comprehend.

For normal people it is physically taxing: stamina wise and joint wise. People also lack the physical attributes. The shoulder roll looks more inviting but you're mistaken if you believe it is any easier to pull off.

If people had a keen eye they'd see that Pacquiao and Mayweather fight differently now. They do so because they can't meet the physical demands.

Mercito gesta seems to doing a good job applying pacquiao's style. Watch his last fight. He's almost got that straight left to the T.

yah mercito gesta did pull off some manny pacquiao moves (i.e. countering the jab with the straight left and then moving off to the side).

but gesta doesn't have nearly the same attitude as a prime pacquiao which was to seek and destroy nor did he show the same activity level.

Because absolutely no competent trainer is going to let their fighter fight like Pacquiao. It's a terrible idea. Pac pulls it off because he's Pac. He's unique.

We will never see a Manny Pacquiao again.

In 20 years he will be much more appreciated than Floyd
