just like eveybody said, because he's unique he's not just fast but also explosive for the entire 12 rounds that's not easy to copy, you need the same athleticism and body to copy him.
just like tommy hearns, after tommy hearns era how many boxer have body and athletisicm like hearns ? i only saw paul williams but he's not fighting like hearns.

If you're implying it's just a simple style, tell me why no one ever dared to imitate him?

Didn't you read that I even complimented Floyd as a supreme technician of his craft... the philly shell which he used 90% most of the time not only on defense but on offensive too when counter punching.

Shame on you for being his fanatics, You don't know **** about boxing!

Pacquiao has so many intangibles its hard to gauge at how you can imitate his style. So many little things he does.

The way he counters the jab by bobbing to his right. The 1-2-1 that is such a simple combination but nobody outside of Marquez found a way to counter it. The pivots he makes after he finishes a combination so he's out of range of most opponents shots and his inhuman footsped allow him to close the distance really fast and do it all over again.

Manny Pacquiao is the most unique fighter of this generation.

Floyd style is more successful; unless you have Manny's attributes you will probably take more an a$$ whooping then messing up the Philly Shell/Shoulder Roll.

Fighter's don't copy because they just aren't capable. Manny is a special athlete. It's quite simple. He can fight like that because he has the tools and athleticism to do so. Someone mentioned earlier, he has everything physically and mentally. His movement, angles and footwork are just insane which is the foundation for him. He's a special fighter.

              Why can't anyone copy him?

What is his style?........Brawler(slagger)?.... Swarmer(in-fighter)?....Boxer-Puncher?....Offensive Boxer?

Why can't Freddie Roach teach this technique to his other newbie fighter?

Yet.... Shoulder Roll/Philly Shell Style is easily imitated by-> Floyd (Supreme technician) but in some ways backfired in Andre Berto , Adrian Broner and Mark Davis etc.

In Pacquiao's earlier years of fighting as a brawler, he has evolved into a much polish/intelligent controlled offense boxer-puncher.

There are a lot of video footage of him on the net that would be a treasure to other boxer yet no one dares to imitate him.

A few occasions I saw Amir imitating the 1-2 and in and out but did not follow thru with that game plan.

Is Pac the only current fighter with this fighting style and Is too dangerous to copy?

Why would anyone want to? Manny isn't technically sound or graceful to the eye, he is just incredibly fast, has a great work ethic, and as he once said, "a sheer determination to rise from poverty". He has heart, drive, and a fighters spirit, that's why he is a champion and an ATG, definitly not his boxing skills.

you have some very valid points up there....

but to say "not his boxing skills" seems to imply his skills have not contributed any to his achievements...and that kind of view is very unrealistic, to say the least....

heart, etc etc pac has a lot of these....but these alone couldn't give pac 8 division titles...

it would suit the agenda of other fighters to imitate pac...with all the attendant fame & $$$$ if they succeed....again, if they succeed.....

in the same manner some imitated Floyd and did not succeed, other fighters are likely to have second thoughts on imitating pac...because pac fights in a very awkward style..

                  awkward daredevil style....

Yes it is a stance. Lol. Floyd, Broner and Berto do it all the time, what are you talking about? In only your dreams is the shoulder roll isolated to simply rolling the shoulder.

Honestly people dont realise Manny's style is generally the style that Roach teaches. Roach teaches all his fighters similar things, but Manny just does it best. Move in an out, combinations, pivot their opponents, no inside game, when on the inside cover up and back to mid-range, use angles etc - these are all from Roach. Other than Pac, Khan was doing this style the best but he just doesnt have the chin for it, and now Shimming is trying to do it. This style requires great footwork, footspeed, and toughness.
