He wanted to fight Golovkin in Morocco, the date that ended up with Golovkin fighting Adama, but changed his mind and said he wanted Golovkin's next HBO date. When Golovkin's team offered that, he changed his mind again because of a MMA PPV in Australia.

How is that an excuse? He gets a cut from the Australian PPV.

Because the MMA PPV was already set when he was talking like he wanted Golovkin. It was only when Golovkin was ready to do business that the PPV became an issue.

I don't buy it either, he doesn't pass my eye test. Sadly its a very weak division with what to me are a lot of Euro level opposition.

I am really not sold on GGG he is a limited pressure fighter with a big punch.
I don't think his defense is good and I think his ability to cut a ring off is hilariously overrated. People just see what they want to see and believe.

No matter how he dispatches of Geale it wouldn't really impress me, its not hate or not giving him his due I've just never rated Geale at all and my post history will show that. He is gutsy & has a good work rate but hes a mediocre boxer.
Does everything well nothing great and has a lot of defensive flaws to go with a sub-par chin. I fully expect Geale to be taken out early. Hes never fought a puncher & been down around a dozen times against opposition who frankly couldn't break an egg.
