WBA/IBO champion Gennady Golovkin (29-0, 26KOs) is one of the most feared boxers in the sport, but two-time middleweight champion Daniel Geale (30-2, 16KOs) is not easily impressed. This Saturday night at New York's Madison Square Garden, Geale will put Golovkin to the test in an HBO televised headliner.

Golovkin has the reputation of a killer, with a long history of fighters doing their best to stay out of his path. Geale won't go as far as to call Golovkin an overhyped product, but he is less than impressed with his level of opposition.

I got a feeling the treatment he gets from tripple G will not matter whether he buys into the hype or not.

Like Dan Rafael (ESPN) says, the eye test counts for something and anyone who has seen Golovkin fight knows he's the goods.

I expect Geale to get literally ran the f@ck over because he just doesn't have the pop or defense to make Golovkin doubt coming right in the pocket and bashing him up.

It's sad too because I really like Geale. He's a great dude. Much respect.

I don't buy into YET either. But, I know he's good how he beat Stevens although Stevens was able to pressure him quite a bit.

I buy into it. He's walked through absolutely everyone he's been up against. You don't walk through guys like Stevens, Macklin & Rosado if you don't have SOME talent.

His opposition would be better if Geale and the rest of the division had actually fought him. Geale had all kinds of excuses before now.
