Garcia is fine with? That's news to be as all I've been hearing from Garcia is how he wants Maidana to use the gloves that he's most comfortable with.

For the record, powerlock gloves are much different than everlast MX. The powerlocks are a much thicker glove with foam padding rather than horsehair padding that comes in the MX gloves. Maidana stated that he was hardly able to get his hands in the powerlocks because of how much padding they had in them.

He couldn't stop Broner? He embarrassed Broner from pillar to post with those Mx gloves on lol

Maidana embarrassed Floyd without the Mx gloves on the first fight when he fuvked him up several time of the ropes, but imagine if he the wears Mx gloves on the 2nd fight. Floyd will be...

      Even more embarrassed lol

While the fight has not been officially announced, a rematch between the sports pound for pound king Floyd “Money” Mayweather and Marcos “Chino” Maidana looks l

The Power Lock glove is also considered a punchers glove as it was also worn by Josesito Lopez when he broke Victor Ortiz’s jaw and by Ruslan Provodnikov when he badly hurt Timothy Bradley in their fight.
The change in gloves is something Garcia will be fine with but he points out that he just needs to have his fighter become accustomed to the gloves and actually train in them.

“Everlast has great gloves. Power Lock gloves are great. Our other fighters are actually preferring Power Lock over MX.

Imagine if floyd took the TS position when he fought ODH? I can't have my gloves so I won't fight. I'm sure the TS and every other poster cosigning this or whining about it would sing a different tune.

Basically you're so desperate to see Mayweather lose at something...that Maidana is supposed to commit career suicide just to try and lose Floyd some money (with Maidana very likely ending up losing all of his as well as his livelihood as a result). Let's say Team Maidana are as mentally disabled as spoon and his ilk. He would be spending the rest of his career fighting truck drivers in Argentina. No major promoter would want to touch him after that, if he would do that to Showtime what would stop him from doing it to HBO? We've seen fighters exiled for years for much smaller offenses. Something tells me being a hero to Floyd haters doesn't pay anywhere near as well as a Mayweather fight.

People here get dumber and dumber every year.

Why would a prizefighter boycott a multi million dollar pay day? Surely, Maidana will be looking at 3-4million.

How ****** can you fools be? You really think everyone is just going to Winky Wright their career to the ground by turning down millions upon millions of dollars? With these two Mayweather fights, Maidana will basically be financially set for the rest of his life if he lives a normal life. Hell, with the first Mayweather fight, he'll basically live comfortably with that. The second one is financial safety.

Not saying that Maidana should boycott but Floyd was threatening to do the same yet I didn't see any posts from you Floyd fans saying that Floyd was dumb even though he is getting way way more than Maidana ...... Floyd's bluff worked on someone like Maidana because Maidana can't afford to lose such a chance at money and what not ....

the point is that in fight one, Maidana should have gone and worn the APPROVED gloves and put the pressure on Floyd. Floyd would have had no choice but to come to fight or get possibly sued by everyone who lost money.
Same goes with this second time around. If it's true that the gloves issue is not resolved and not on the contract, Maidana should do like I said ..... but I'm sure that before long, that will be added to the contract, just in case ....

Boycott is extreme but Maidana could have just walked into the ring last May with APPROVED punchers gloves and put the pressure on Floyd ..... If not in part of the current contract, he can do the same .... but I doubt it's not going to be part of the contract by the time the fight is on.

Floyd doesn't need punchers gloves to do his thing. Plus Floyd won and never made such a big case of it mattering the way Maidana has been doing.
Floyd's move is BS. He takes Maidana's main weapon away from him yet promotes Maidana as a KO artist ......

I think he should've called Floyds bluff last fight about not fighting Maidana with those gloves...no bucking way Floyd was not going to fight and lose out on all that money, he is all talk. Maidana should wait until the day of the fight and stand his ground, my gloves or no fight.
