Basically you're so desperate to see Mayweather lose at something...that Maidana is supposed to commit career suicide just to try and lose Floyd some money (with Maidana very likely ending up losing all of his as well as his livelihood as a result). Let's say Team Maidana are as mentally disabled as spoon and his ilk. He would be spending the rest of his career fighting truck drivers in Argentina. No major promoter would want to touch him after that, if he would do that to Showtime what would stop him from doing it to HBO? We've seen fighters exiled for years for much smaller offenses. Something tells me being a hero to Floyd haters doesn't pay anywhere near as well as a Mayweather fight.

Boycott is extreme but Maidana could have just walked into the ring last May with APPROVED punchers gloves and put the pressure on Floyd ..... If not in part of the current contract, he can do the same .... but I doubt it's not going to be part of the contract by the time the fight is on.

Floyd doesn't need punchers gloves to do his thing. Plus Floyd won and never made such a big case of it mattering the way Maidana has been doing.

Yes, Maidana should stand his ground. Floyd has no other fight out there that will make him money except fighting Pacquiao which he won't. So Floyd is left with Maidana.

Knowing that. Maidana can play hardball and on the day of the fight he should just surprise Floyd into wearing his punchers gloves. Floyd will have no choice but to go through with it. The pressure to continue would be for him to just go with it. (that is if its not written in the contract which I highly doubt it's not written). Just my wishful thinking working here lol

I hope Maidana can play this tactics and blind side Floyd for the coward that he is on the day of the fight.
