Brooks time to shine. Back to studying fights and feeling uber confident on this one. Not felt so excited and confident since Rigo vs Donaire.

Porter is going to get smashed.

My crystal ball tells me Brook takes him out in 6 & all these guys hop off and leap on board the Thurman hypetrain.

How do you think Brooks defence holds up at this level Dan?

I'm not seeing it myself. Head too static, chin too high

It's on the West coast so it will be later. Just make sure you're by a TV at 2:00am. I'd guess it'll start around 4:00am, but don't take my word for it.

I was under the impression that this was largely a 50-50 fight, maybe an edge to Porter.

But I see that the betting odds favour (favor, Fat Yanks) Porter by some margin. bet365, for example, is offering 2-1 odds on a Brook win.

As these are two relatively untested guys and this could go either way, a bet on Brook at 2-1 odds has to be worth a punt, surely? I've put £10 on, which is not to say I'm picking Brook to win*.



* I actually have no pick, as I haven't seen either fighter enough times to make a call.

based on both mens last two fights i can see why porter is favored

Yeah, Porter was impressive. I've only seen him once, Brook twice.

i really do think he will KO porter,
porter rushes in and is uncoordinated,
brook has power, speed, timing and accuracy,
brook will stop porter with a right hook
