A few things that could work against Lacy.....

First BIG fight- an overseas one at that, & this could lead him to freeze, or to try way too hard.

If Joe fights Lacy like he did Mitchell, its gonna be a quick painful night for him

Calzaghe has dropped a lot since then, he is no longer as sharp as he was back then. But Mitchell was better than Lacy is anyway, even beat Lacy in one round at the 1996 Golden Gloves.

I think you just hit the nail on the head (without meaning to dip****)...Lacy's power is mysterious.

Here he whacks on Omar Sheika and cant budge him (how can you not budge Omar "punching bag" Sheika?), he whacks on Rubin Williams (who had been knocked out in 1 round at middleweight) and it takes a ton of flush shots to finally put him away...your kind of thinking to yourself is he a real big puncher or is he just a damn effective volume puncher.

Then we watched Lacy annihilate the very durable but ancient Scotty Pemberton and Robin Reid...now your starting to think this kid can crack right?

Both Reid and Sandman were way past their prime and the fact that Scotty Pemberton was just taken out by Peter Manfredo (a fighter that ultimately will be campaigning at 154)has got to make you wonder about Jeff's power.

So Juyjuy when you say he has mysterious power I think you are right, the jury in my mind is still out and the verdict is due on Saturday night!

It's interesting that Carl Froch KTFO Rubin Williams in 30 seconds in Liverpool in October 2000 (Lacy watched, and was supposed to fight Froch next but apparently faked an injury).

But I see Lacy has LOADS of these third-round stoppage wins on his amateur record, and apparently hit harder than Sam Peter when it was measured!?

Listen you dip**** stay on topic, quit talking about Carl Froch...one minute you are saying Lacey is gonna stop Joe in round and that he has mysterious power and the next minute your bashing his power and talking about Carl Froch as if he was the next Julian Jackson.

Make up your mind you dumb bastard.

Are the majority of you going with Lacy because your backing the home man or are you all failing to see the skill in Calzaghe. Hasnt one of you stopped for a minute to think why Calzaghe has had to wait until now for a so called superfight!

Well its because noone wanted to face him. I mean B Hop was offered the biggest payday of his life to fight joe then he went and fought Robert Allen for the 23rd time!!!

You will all see what I mean come Sunday morning when your all moaning that Lacy was underprepared or the English weather was against him or some other weird ass excuse!

Face the facts Calzaghe is a good fighter possibly a fringe P4P fighter but noone has ever had the balls to face him. And dont give me that he pulled outta fights bull**** because he woulda beat Glencoffe Johnson with one hand tied behind his back!

Totally agree-Froch is domestic class but no better. Saw him against Westerton(think that was his name) and he got tagged so often it was embarrassing.

Your right Welsh, Joe has been avoided there is no doubt in my mind!

                      BUT...

Joe shoould have noticed this long ago and said "**** you Americans fighters, if you wont fight me here I will go to the end of the earth to fight you where ever" and he didnt do this.

Look at Ricky Hatton...you think Floyd is ever going to Manchester to fight him? **** no he isnt and Hatton ultimately knows this so what does he do? Instead of starting a flame war from across the pond he has come to the US to show Mayweather that there is absolutely no way out of a fight with me (Floyd is going to have to fight Hatton, there is no ifs and or buts-Hatton has given floyd no choice).

Did Roy or Nard duck Clazaghe? Maybe they did, but I would bet my life that had Joe of done what Hatton is doing now there is no way Clazaghe would have not gotten his shot eventually with either 1 or both of them.

Ricky Hatton is hell bendt on not just becoming a champion but an ALL TIME GREAT, I wish my boy Joe who I will root for with every ounce of my soul would have wanted the same!
