Lacy by Stoppage in a pretty sloppy fight.

I dont see lacy dominating Cal with his power, and I dont see Cal dominating lacy with his boxing.

A drawn out sloppy fight where Cal does a lot of holding and Lace and ends up landing some rabbit punches, Lacyboy does enough damage to warrant some kind of stoppage.

But none the less,a fight where Mech makes 800mill e-points and recovers from his Vargas fiasco.Yup.

Still going for a late KO for Calzaghe.

I think he will use his speed and experience to slowly break down Lacy for a KO/TKO in the 11th. round.

So FINAL PREDICTION? It's Lacy by K.O.

Anybody else wants to bet? Another 500 Mil for LACY, ANYBODY?
ill put 50mil on Joe if you give me 3 to 1

i think Lacy will beat him on the body attack. JC having to diet and strip weight more than ever, & he thought Mitchells body shots hurt him ? i say, fight stopped on three knockdown rule, 2nd round.

This fight is going the distance.

Lacy has got to rough Joe up and be prepared to do it for 12 rounds nonstop, fighting at any sort of distance for any length of time is not an option.

Calzaghe has got to fight smart for once (despite what some say he is not as smart in the ring as his experience would tell you he is)! He loves to mix it up which is fine but against Lacy he needs to control the fight with his speed and during certain moments he needs to jump in and quickly try and overwhelm Lacy and then get out. (I cant wait to see how they appear when they tie up-just who is the stronger guy and is Lacy as strong as we think he is?)

My hunch is Joe is not diciplined enough to do as much boxing as he says he will or I would like him to do, I love Joe but this is one tough fight too pick.

I gotta lean towards the underrated Joe Calzaghe based on my thought that this fight regaardless of a winner goes all 12.

This is arguably the most exciting fight on paper that can be made in the sport of boxing today (I 100% believe this). Styles make fights right guys...well these two styles are gonna produce one helluva classic especially if both men can take each others power. (if both men are able to eat each others shots we will see the greatest Super Middleweight fight of all time)

Christmas is just one mother****ing day away!

If it can be better than Eubank/Watson II and Benn/McClellan then it will be one of the best fights ever, but hopefully without the same tragic consequences as those infamous fights.

It goes without saying that you want both men to walk out of the ring with their health, for boxing fans the stories of of both Watson and McClellan are nightmares that are almost impossible to forget.

With that stuff said if they can take each others shots then we are in for something ridiculously special!

But Joe's not been unloading punches as well as he used to lately, and I doubt he can handle Lacy's power for very long at all in this situation (weight-drained, washed-up etc).

I would consider Charles Brewer and Byron Mitchell to be just as big a punchers as Jeff Lacy, now Im certainly not saying they are better fighters then Lacy but what made both men legit world title contenders was there power and in both cases Joe ate what they had and then spit it right out.

I suspect he will do the same with Lacy, this fight is going the distance regardless of who wins.

I don't know man, Lacy's power is mysterious. He's dangerous, and Calzaghe has no defence.
