    Calzaghe Vs Lacy: Final Predictions

This a very minor fight in world boxing because Calzaghe and Lacy are such tiny names, but in the US they are saying that this is the biggest super-middleweight fight since Benn-McClellan!!!

Obviously, it's be a much, much smaller world-wide fight than Benn-McClellan was and not near as hyped as that was (and neither Calzaghe or Lacy are in the same class as Benn or McClellan) though, but it is still going to be a big fight in America due to the much-hyped Lacy (the 168lb Samuel Peter).

There's probably not a single person who doesn't agree that Calzaghe in his prime would of disposed Lacy with ease, but the fact that Calzaghe is many years past his best and has looked a complete shadow of his former self in his last three fights does make things interesting. And ofcourse, Calzaghe will be very, very weight-drained as he has been these last few years, not to mention all the personal problems that Calzaghe has been going through in recent times.

I personally predict a Lacy TKO1 win, because Calzaghe is that poor these days. I've put £500 on Lacy to win in three rounds or less.

His wife was cheating on him then left him and moved in with someone else, and she wouldn't let Joe see his kids either. Joe went off the rails and very almost went mad (he really lost his head).

^^yea i read about that in some boxing mag, but i think its an excuse for joe looking less than himself recently, ppl have to face it, age can make a HUGE diffrence, even if its just a year or so

Joe Calzaghe UD....Lacy has Joe down but he gets up and wins the fight with by a clear decision which is not disputed.

i think that joe is gonna get hit in the first or second round and let loose. Lacy will get hit flush from round 2-4 until he gets joe to the ropes and finishes it around the 4th or 5th round. Ive seen both fighters previous 4 or 5 fights and thats my two cents.

Both fighters have there moments but Joe dominates early and hangs on late to win a clear but close UD.
