Too bad Ibragimov called it quits after that
Sultan Ibragimov was indeed a very good win

      Ray Austin
      Ruslan Chagaev
      Sultan Ibragimov
      Alexander Povetkin
      David Haye
      Ray Mercer
      Tony Thompson (x2)
      Samuel Peter (x2)
      Chris Byrd
      Lamon Brewster
      Calvin Brock
      Eddie Chambers

Pretty much all of these guys were doing well before they got in the ring with Wladimir.

Sam Peter and Haye were the two most dangerous fighters that he faced and defeated and were probably two of his most defining victorious to date. peter showed that he had what it took to get to the top after his set backs and Haye proved that Wlad was indeed the best.

Neither of them are Mike Tyson or anything but they are pretty much the best this past era has been able to produce.

A few people have mentioned byrd ... I don't think he had the style to cause wlad any problems. To trouble wlad you have to have a big punch imo ... unless you are SUPREMELY skilled and can actually seek to out point wlad over 12 (not just very skilled (and very small) ala Byrd)

I could mention Povetkin but the fight was such a god awful stinker that i simply can't call that one of his best wins lol. I mean sheesh imagine a video rendition of some of the greats in 20 years time and some of their best performances ... the Louis fans produce Louis v Schmelling, the ali supporters bring out ali v liston, the foreman fan club show Foreman v frazier, the frazier cheerleaders present frazier v ali, the tyson fanatics blitz us with tyson v spinks ... and the klit lickers bring out .... wlad v povetkin??!??! lol surely even the nuthuggers will agree not to throw that one into the mix.

Cruiserweight vs Cruiserweight, fixed fight, border line cruiserweight competition fair enough... Tyson vs guy who never belonged at heavyweight meh...

Yeah Ibragimov was avesome ey, he achieved everything he could have and figured he wouldn't be able to topple the K2 so figured he'd take his money and retire young. Can't blame him, good for him, not so good for boxing lol

For his career resurection and confidence I would say the Peter fight.

Now in terms of all time standing it would be between the Haye and Povetkin fights.

In terms of unification it would be the prime Chagaev fight.

Overall he has an atg title resume and anyone who disputes that needs to look into following another sport.

in that order. people are going to say sam peter which is laughable, sam peter was terrible. arguably the single worst fighter to ever hold any version of a world title in the history of boxing imo.
Which is why nobody takes you seriously. So basically what you are saying is that you are either really ****** or didn't follow boxing before 2008 or so when Vitali made Peter irrelevant. To you Liakhovich's title reign was so great. At least Peter won title defenses you dope.

doesn't matter really. His best wins are against C-grade fighters.
Since when do c grade fighters win world titles and gold medals?

                  $ tfu already

                    Funny,

All Klitschko haters always try to claim Byrd was his best win because it portrays the image of a cruiser cruncher

Byrd was highest ranking in terms of title wins, which take into account nothing about ACTUAL boxing.

The truth is Byrd vs Klitschko was a total mismatch, he never had any chance whatsoever with WK.

His style was not good enough to run around for 12 rounds and steal anything without getting caught badly and he did not have the punch to cause an upset.

If these facts can't be swallowed, you should follow another sport!

                      David Haye.

His biggest win and his most dangerous opponent. You can't have your cake and eat it too; if Haye is shit then Wladimirs resume is shit. Haye lost the fight but he also came in with skils, power, and an incredible gameplan from Booth.

Rewatch that fight. If Wlad had not been insanely active and on the ball every second that night, Haye could have stolen it. Manny Stewards advice in the corner said it all; he knew what Haye was doing and knew Wlad had to take it to another level to keep the title.
