I also mean offensively when I say versatility, both Mayweather and Whitaker can hook off of their lead hand whilst moving, both far more successful at it than Rigondeaux. Jabs, not even comparable either and I know Rigondeaux uses his more as a range finder which works perfectly for him. Straight, again not even debatable don't attempt it. This against not even comparable level of opposition, so the answer is quite simple really.

Come back in 5 years after he has fought the best of the best and then lets see if he stays in the top PFP and then we can consider him as one of the 100 best. Any talk outside of that is premature.

I think so. I can't pinpoint what it is, But Rigo leaves some of the best offensive fighters stuck afraid to fire punches. Granted Donaire has looked like he fell in love with his power before Rigo, the undressing of such a highly regarded fighter was mesmerizing to observe.

But if you want a true testament of just how precise Rigo is, what he did to Agbeko more than demonstrates his talent. When you reduce a volume puncher who's usually capable of well over 80 punches a round to less than half that, it says volumes.

BTW.. that's not to say he'd beat the guys you listed p4p.. I just think technically he is the best i've seen, he glides around the ring so effortlessly. Whitaker is comparable (better jab, upper body movement) but had worse footwork and power.

              LOL.....not even close.

Real recognize real and sure he's a great boxer but boy oh boy that resume is lacking. Floyd, BHOP, Ward have all shown to be superior at this point.

He hasn't done enough yet to be the best pure boxer of the last 25 years. However he does have the talent.

I would have to say yes , rigo has superb angles and slides out perfectly to make you miss and exploit you dead with counter shots .. Ring I.Q is second to none ... Rigo is the most pure boxer I've seen in a while
