    • It was a balance shot, being hit like that was inexcusable, however. It was barely even a knockdown for chrissake. It's hard to look impressive against someone who all but refuses to engage in a fight, and that bull**** about coming back in the last half of the fight, is it that he didn't want to win the fight? Wlad obviously wasn't going to run empty with no pressure being put on him, and I thought Wlad fought well given the way Williamson fought. Williamson was hurt early on by those rights, and if he had come on later, Wlad would still be fresh, and would have KO'd Williamson.

Dont sweat it. Actually, you might just want to ignore him (ignore feature) most of us have to. Welcome to the site

              • Spinks was hitting Mayorga, there's a difference. Williamson was saying the knockdown round sould have been scored 10-8 or 10-7, when he basically only landed the one clean punch, and then got beat up for the rest of the round. Williamson looked nothing like he did against Mesi, either, and took some good shots. I don't have a problem with runners, but when you start saying someone looks like **** against a runner, take that into account.

                • Well ......... That was fun.

After some thought on the topic and reading the posts of others, I've come to the conclusion that people are passionate about their hatred for the Klitschkos and get evil to cover up their bias.

For example, What happened after Lennox Lewis got Ko'd by McCall or Rahman? Did Tracylee, Jose, or Cita call for his retirement?

What about Tyson's loss to Douglas, Holyfield, or Lewis? Just a couple months ago some people thought he would dominate the division at 38 years old!

My point is this....... If you take away the Klitschko name and put Tyson or Lewis in its place, the anti-Wlads would feel differently. Just imagine those people calling for Lewis's retirement at 28 years old. Ludicrous right?

Once things are put into there proper perspective, it's easy to see the truth about these people. For whatever reason, they call for Wladimir Klitschko to retire. The only thing I'm sure of, is that it's got nothing to do with boxing and everything to do with their personal preference.

                  • Nobody cares about Wlad enough to hate him, no one on here has some secret adgenda when talking about Wlad, no one is getting evil. Its just that Wlad fans cant handle the TRUTH plain and simple. Count me in as one of the guys who thought Wlad was going to take over the division.

This has happend plenty of times in the history of boxing and will continue to happen. Wlad belongs in the catagory with Micheal Grant, Gerry Cooney, Donald Curry, Ri**** Bowe..ect all guys who were suppossed to be the next great thing in boxing and for reasons some in there controll and some out of there controll never fuffilled there potential.

These are BAD fighters he is losing to to and I do mean BAD. Ross Purity is nothing more than an average jouneyman, same with Lamon Brewster, hell Corrie Sanders was pretty much retired and playing golf full time when Wlad and hsi people called him. Before there fights with Wlad Brewster was famous for getting beaten up by Cliff Eitine a guy who was KO'ed in 40 seconds against Tyson and before Wlad the only thing Sanders had ever done was be KO'ed by Rahman.

There is no excuse whatsoever to even have problems with a guy the caliber of "TOS". "TOS" might have the single worst chin I have ever seen on a fighter, hell Joe Mesi damn near killed him.

It is clearly in his head and he is fighting scared and anyone who has any kind of boxing knowledge whatsoever can see this.

There comes a time in a prospect career where people(including his fans) have to stop making excuses for him and just come to the realization that he is just not as good as people thought he was.

                    as far as that post

Considering Lewis' two losses came about 7 or 8 years apart so no one was calling for him to retire. Everyone in the boxing world knows Lewis' losses were not because of lack of talent, but because he got lazy. Look at the rematch for the Rahman fight, two completely different versions of Lewis.

as far as Tyson yes everyone is calling for him to hang it up, but he NEEDS to fight because he is in serious debt. No one outside of his hardcore fan boys thought he could rule the division.
