Should Wladimir Klitschko fire Emmanual Steward?

After Wladimir lost to Corrie Sanders, he hired Steward. Steward has since tried to incorporate a more American style of boxing into Wladimir's European style. IMO this is a detriment to Wladimir's skills and is causing more harm than good. It seems he's thinking to much and things don't happen as naturally in the ring for him as they used to.

Wladimir won a gold medal, the WBO belt, and won many fights including several against top opponents such as Barrett, Byrd, and McCline with his European style.

All boxers eventually lose fights (with very few exceptions). Many lose by KO. Many make comebacks. Lewis, Forman, Ali, to name a few, all made comebacks. Wladimir at 28 years old can also make a comeback.

Wladimir has to overcome the Mental aspect of being knocked out, The pressure of keeping up with Vitali, and now learn Manny's American boxing style.

IMO - He should Fire Manny, reinstate his former trainer (Vitali's trainer - who's name escapes me at the moment),and get back to what worked for him. His European style had many viewing him as the next great heavyweight.

    What do you think?

I couldn't agree more. Wlad cannot fight how Manny wants him to fight. Manny should be history or he should have Wlad go back to his old style.

I think Wlad probably should fire him and try to get back to his old style but its too late. His confidense is shattered and his chin has been exposed. He looked very bad in this fight even though he was dominating, and the knockdown was inexcusable. This did nothing to restablish Wlad's credibilty and even the fans at the arena were bad mouthing him.

Wlad is finished and if he fights TOS again he will lose.

Whatever happened to Roach being Wlad's trainer?

Do you think Roach could make Wlad a better fighter?

So you think Wlad looked good, give me a break. TOS knocked him down, okay and don't even say it was a balance shot, he got hit and knocked down, bottom line. TOS was ready to KO him, he even said his plan was to get into rounds 5-10. Wlad did not look good at all, despite the fact that he "dominated."

TOS was ready to KO him thats why Wlad dominated the rest of the round.

I think he should use his brothers trainer (Fritz Sch-n--ck Well.....it's unpronounceable German anyway) and return to his European style. I don't think any American style trainer can help him.
