Martinez is one of my favourite fighters of recent years, the greatest middleweight of the post Hopkins generation and most importantly, a true, honest competitor. I didn't always like him and then he beat Pavlik, beat him up in the championship rounds and put Williams and any recurring controversy to sleep in 2 rounds...he had me hooked there and then.
I hope he has a fight against some journeyman and retires, I don't want to see him going the way of Ali, Leonard, Tyson, RJJ....slow, painful deaths.Comment
