Steward barked at Wlad in almost every fight...and when he attacked the fight usually ended or his opponent got mugged severly!No it doesn't discredit him in any way. Rahman in his prime was a decent contender, not the walking corpse that was handpicked out of the abyss to pad Wlad's record. Rahman physically could do nothing more than lay with his back to the ropes, occasionally pushing out a weak jab. Any great would have blown him out early doors. Instead Wlad cautiously measured Rahman, draping himself over his back whenever he got too close for comfort. Steward had to bark at Wlad to be more assertive in the fight.
. Rahman should have been the one holding on for dear life, not Wlad. The fact that you see that fight representing a model form of boxing is a sad commentary. Lewis for his part never showed such cowardly apprehension against such a weak level of opponent.
Did you forget Steward pleading Lewis to end his fights,particulatly with Tyson?No ,that is forgotten.
I know one thing Wlad k.od Mercer and Lewis did not....yes a bit older Mercer however we saw what Wlad could do. Lewis was the hold king in his prime,so you are only fooling yourself with his hold and hit tactics he used in every fight practically then you point fingers at Wlad for the same tactics...this is smart boxing however...you guys really don't know what you are actually looking at half the time..no offense!Last edited by juggernaut666; 12-06-2015, 07:06 PM.Comment

I would put Rahman over chisora same fighters who fought both guys...Chisora who fought fury After battered by vitali was would lose to the Rahman who Wlad fought! that is opinion.....you are trying to mix up the real comparisons here...and that is Chisora is Furys best win,outside wlad that is not an opinion!Comment

I know it's your opinion, but you're telling me to "be real" about it, so explain yourself. How was the Rahman who fought Wlad better than Chisora? Give me examples, stylistic analysis, fight breakdowns, etc. What would Rahman do better than Chisora against Fury? How would he beat Chisora himself?Comment

Ive already done that...chisora was not the same guy when he fought fury imop.Whwere has he been since or actually fought after vitali?.Rahman was still the better fighter that night that fought Wlad...I don't even recall Chisora being better than any version of Rahman really...i don't even consider chisora better than sanders really.
If you like a break down well you show me where he is better than Rhaman...the guy went tooth and nail with guys like Lewis and Holyfield...I don't think I need a real break down do I?
And not for nothing but Vitali was injured "AGAIN" before he fought Chisora but who cares he won!Comment

Ugh, are you functionally dim? We're not talking about prime Rahman you dope, we're talking about the walking punchbag that Wlad fought. Do you understand that those versions of the fighters are not the same as each other?
So yes, you do need a breakdown, taking into account Rahman's rapid decline following the days when he could actually pull the trigger.Comment

The version is still better than the less skilled Chisora...wjhat you failed to realize Vitali made him look better than he actually was...injuries are a *****...however...Pumping up Chisora to make Fury look great is not going to work....AGAIN even a semi good Rahamn over shadows Chisora who was not really top 5 quality material...a good fighter but not relevant one..maybe when fury fought him but that doesnt change his actual status...you are becoming unglued my friend time to cash out as still one of the better posters on here! you cant make shyte into gold....Chisora not shining when he fought fury its real simple.
