I expected Wlad to come in light for this fight at about 16.9-17 stone to try and match Fury's speed. The fact that he's bulking up to the same weight he was against Poolev suggests he'll try to mug Fury around the ring like he did to that leadfoot zombie. This fight will come down to strength as Wlad doesn't have the gas or the legs to box more than 30% of a round and the appointed ref will let him get away with all the illegal roughhousing he wants. If Fury can resist the clinches or even push Wlad onto his backfoot, he's done for. If Fury can move tractors in training, he can move Wlad.
Good post.
Wlad will be slow, sluggish, and will lose the mental battle early on. It will be evident that Fury is levels above Wlad by the second round or 3rd. He will be in survival mode until Fury breaks him.
Same referee as the one Kubrat Pulev got his due. Great referee he will ensure Fury has to fight and can not throw that pitty pat illegal flicking back hand.
I think Fury wont go beyond the third. Weeks will realise he is way out of his depth and can not sustain the damage he is taking.
Good for both of us, lol, I was worried for a sec too, definitely don't want to miss this bloodbath, and I am always nervous about missing fights in different time zones.
At least HBO is covering it though.
