Honestly, I was expecting something very different from Gloves are off.
I was thinking Fury had better of Wlad, make him look uncomfortable or something.. People were saying this for weeks.
I didn't see any of that!
Wlad was composed, calmed and measured as always. Fury was the one who was hyped trying to put across some questionable points (like the sauna thing...)
Wlad actually got to Tyson quite more with the Haye's comment when he said Haye would knock him out. Tyson was genially jittery, not pretending to be.
Whatever was the reason Wlad proposed the fight, this aint one!
IMO Wlad came across better. Wlad is a smart man, he knows how to play the games. I think proposing the fight was just to show that it is Wlad's show after all.Last edited by Simurgh; 11-14-2015, 02:57 AM.

Wlad just came with: "you don't know what you're talking about". But he clearly did.
I'd say Fury looked a lot more comfortable than Wlad, that's for sure.
But it wasn't a "verbal schooling".

Wlad's "you don't know what you're talking about" was spot on, because Wlad knows how is it to be 25 or 35, Fury doesn't. When Johnny said he can still do whatever he did when he was 25 it didn't look good for Fury.
All the comments Wlad made were measured. I do think he looked the most comfortable he ever looked near Tyson. Tyson, IMO, talked much more, but not really giving the impression he is the most confident out of two. He was hyping himself up, Wlad didn't have to.
I really expected Tyson to do much better. He definitely didn't get the edge of any sort in this one.
