I've never blamed Wlad for the Purrity stoppage, understanding that he was a young man and young men often get overeager and make mistakes. The same consideration should be applied to Fury, only in his case he was still able to win the fight, which is the real lesson that should be taken from that fight.

I understand it's the last time Fury truly looked vulnerable, and is therefore going to be brought up as a point of criticism and ridicule by those looking to downgrade Tyson, but at this point it has about as much pertinence as Wlad's losses to 'fat golfer' Sanders and 'sprung like a dawg' Brewster. It's fine for a chuckle at the fighter's expense but doesn't have any bearing on how the actual fight is going to play out in the here and now. Wlad isn't going to go all guns blazing and gas himself out and Fury isn't going to fight like a sloppy caveman with his hands at his sides and his chin in the air. Maybe it'd be a better fight if they did, but that's unlikely how it's going to play out.
    Basically it works like this.

Now fight week is approaching, guys on here who generally have no interest in the HW division, suddenly start getting interested in the fight, and suddenly become "experts" on Tyson Fury. These guys have done no research, other than seeing the odd GIF of Fury punching himself in the face and being dropped by Cunningham, and thus decide that Fury is a bum, and Wladimir is the GOAT.

Not to worry though, their ignorance will become apparent very soon indeed.

I don't recall you posting on any HW threads, save those involving Fury. Where you have contributed, it is often to say: 'Fury beats them' or the like.

Apart from Elroy, who I fear is sometimes under the influence when he posts, no one has called Wladimir the GOAT. Posters have just said it how it is: Wladimir is the champion, the more skillful boxer, and the one with a deeper resume.

Jokes aside, I don't dislike Fury. He's a clown, sure, and he's been carefully matched, but, I, like the majority here, just feel he is out of his depth and we'll be in for a one-sided fight

He's a more polished and refined boxer now and doesn't go looking for a tear up.

I have no idea why people keep bringing up the Cunningham fight tbh. It's like bringing up Wlad's Brewster or Sanders fights. Has no relevance on how they fight now.
Cunningham was like four fights ago lol, Wlad hasn't lost in over a decade !

Fury struggled versus Cunningham, about the only boxer he has faced with any form of skill except brawling, and we all know what happened there, hence why Fury took these carefully matched fights his entire career to that point then after wards. The Haye fight was his cash out fight so please don't even bother to mention your other Brit you guys in this thread held so dear before ruthlessly ditching him.

Fury does not go looking for a tear up as he knows he hasn't the capabilities to get into a tear up with a B level heavyweight let alone Wlad, a certain HOF'r and expected to be acknowledged an ATG.

The GOAT debate is all subjective and is a tiresome debate which has been done over and over.

What you are describing is selective memory and ignorance, one suspects we're due truckloads of it after the 28th. As Tyson once said to Ruddock,' I'm gonna make you my girlfriemd on the 28th' well I'm gonna make this guy mine, although I have competition from Szef.

You'll find him along with Mandy, Ned and Wraps in the Joshua Klitschko threads after Fury has been dispensed of rooting for yep you guessed it, the BRITISH Joshua.

Strangely because you're amused and entertained by guys running around in batman costumes and shouting obscenities at press conferences, to the point their respective countries have to reprimand their behaviour and see fit to issue fines as to bring said individuals into line as not to bring the sport into disrepute.

Fury has had his ups and downs sure, the antics he is known for outside of the ring which really have established his name in the sporting households of the UK are nothing to be held aloft and paraded as achievements. Wasn't he reprimanded due to his behaviour and language in front of women and children which also went out on a live feed to his nation ?

He was losing on the cards because of that KD and had won the past 3-4 rounds convincingly before the stoppage. Hardly reflective of the way the fight was going.
really doesnt matter anyway. fury has improved loads since that fight. he doesnt give away his height as much anymore and keeps his chin lower. he was a kayo loss waiting to happen back then. he learned from that near disaster
